I must now say that I am ultimately impressed with this massive update. Quake has never been so much in style! Again, you never cease to amaze me fuh. :D

If you need a tester before release, you know where I am.

Damn that new scoreboard looks nice. Shouldn't it be possible to integrate some simple speedstats-variant into FuhQuake now? I think it would be enough if one could press a button and create a html-page where you can see everyone's kills/deaths/etc.

Yep, this will most likely be int here too, small chance it may in the 0.30 update/bugfix release around a month later.

Fuh, is it me or are some of the particle sprites messed up in the teleport screenshot? It looks like the sprite graphic's border is being displayed or something on the bottom of those particle's.

I redid the big image (not the thumbnail). Should be find now.

flag stats works off message printing from mod. If the client doesnt detect a flag print it wont add the stats in the tab status (im guessing). Have to ask fuh but im pretty sure thats how it works.

yeh of course this is there too, software and GL. you just need a big enough conwidth, the bigger the more stats fit in.

Hm. There is a minor, yet overlooked display bug, when it comes to character sets and large graphics displays. You've noticed that if you played 800x600 with no conwidth, that some of the text displayed is "blurry"? I wonder if it's possible to fix something like that. I'd be able to view the greatly improved scoreboard if I had room to display it :D

I don't like that charset. People who makes those should read a good book on font design. That charset in the screens makes it hard to tell when there is a space between characters and when there is not. In other words, the characters don't group into words correctly... making stuff really hard to read.

A real font solution would be to allow for True Type Fonts or some platform independent font support. That way we could have variable width fonts, which would look really nice for most text. Of course, some things in quake are meant to be read in fixed-width fonts.

Real font support would let people change colors on the fly (and fonts too)!

I hope Fuhquake gets Tenebrae's lava splash particle effect. Check the screenshot and tell me that isn't how it SHOULD look:

Also, I would also love to see Tenebrae style decals, especially for blood sploshes and stains. Check this screenshot, and imagine your favorite map after some heavy fighting. Walls should be coated with gore!

I'm talking about the main 8x8 charset, not the 16x16, 24x24 or even 32x32. The main one that comes with Quake.
